HEX is a Store of Value token on Ethereum and PulseChain. It lets you lock HEX for a fixed period to earn rewards — similar to a bank Certificate of Deposit, but on-chain, permissionless, and with no bank required.
Rewards come from 3.69% yearly inflation, shared only among active stakers. The fewer people staking, the larger each staker's share — with ~10% of HEX currently staked, average yields can reach around 36.9% APY.
Yes. The LongerPaysBetter bonus adds up to 20% extra shares per additional year, capped at 200%. Staking 5 years in a single stake yields roughly 100% bonus shares — far better than five consecutive 1-year stakes.
Minimum stake is 1 day, maximum is 5,555 days (~15 years). You can run multiple stakes from the same address. Staked HEX cannot be transferred — it stays locked until the end date.
Rewards are distributed only at stake completion. You have a 2-week grace period after maturity to end the stake. After that, a 1% weekly penalty applies — so end your stake on time to receive your full principal plus rewards.
